Nuapada(06/10/2025): Odisha Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced the upgradation of Khariar Road to a Municipality, while Komna and Sinapali have been declared Notified Area Councils (NACs). For Nuapada district, the Chief Minister announced development projects worth Rs 1,100 crore during a massive public gathering at the Mini Stadium. He inaugurated 109 completed projects built at a cost of Rs 64 crore and laid the foundation stones for 39 new projects worth Rs 159 crore. Additionally, irrigation projects worth Rs 802 crore have been promised to boost agricultural development in the region.
