
Phulbani Government Medical College and Talcher's Pavitra Mohan Pradhan Government Medical College approved for 100 MBBS seats each
Bhubaneswar(02/09/2025): Two more government medical colleges in Odisha have received approval for 200 MBBS seats.The approval has been granted by National Medical Commission (NMC). Phulbani Government Medical College has been approved for 100 seats, while Pavitra Mohan Pradhan Government Medical College in Talcher has also been approved for 100 seats. The classes will begin from the current academic year 2025–26. Welcoming the approval from the National Medical Commission, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that Odisha has achieved another milestone in the field of medical education.More than 200 more Odia students will now be able to pursue medical education from this academic year..
