Inner Wheel Club of Bhubaneswar Radiant brings smiles to elderly at Hey Bandhu Old Age Home

Bhubaneswar (04/09/2025): The members of our club visited Hey Bandhu Old Age Home, Paga, Salepur, Bhubaneswar where 35 elderly women are residing.

The inmates welcomed the members with flowers and Hulhuli, a gesture of warmth and affection that deeply touched everyone present. As part of the visit, the club donated a month’s ration and spent quality time with the residents.

Members interacted with the elderly women, listened to their life experiences, and created cherished moments of togetherness.

The atmosphere was further enriched as devotional songs together, filling the home with joy, love, and comfort.

The visit not only provided much-needed support but also strengthened bonds of love and compassion, reflecting the true spirit of Inner Wheel’s service to society. In this programme, our Club President Bijayalaxmi Sathpathy, PDC Madhumita Mohanty conducted a session on Safety and Self-Care, while Past President Swapna Padhy spoke on Health & Hygiene. Past President Laxmi Patra interacted with the inmates, listening to their experiences and sharing words of encouragement. Later, Kalpana Tripathy, along with all members and residents, sang devotional bhajans, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The programme truly reflected the spirit of Inner Wheel—friendship, service, and caring for those in need.
