Police conduct simultaneous raids in Bargarh Jail and Sub-Jails

Bargarh(05/10/2025): Police carried out surprise raids at Bargarh Jail and other Sub-Jails in the district. Similar operations were conducted at Padmapur and Sohela Sub-Jails, sources said. Acting on the directions of the SP, the raids aimed to curb illegal activities inside the prisons. During the operation, police seized bidis (local cigarettes), ganja, matchsticks and other objectionable items .
