Notorious fraudster held from Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar(05/10/2025): The Commissionerate Police have arrested a notorious fraudster from the Maitri Vihar area of Bhubaneswar.

The accused, identified as Rinku from Haryana, was taken into custody along with his aide, Manindra. Police said Rinku used to impersonate the chairman of a commission under the Home Department and cheated people by offering lucrative posts in the Central Government. The fraud came to the fore after verification with the Ministry of Home Affairs, informed Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena on Sunday .
