
ICSI celebrates 57th Foundation Day
Bhubaneswar (06/10/2025): The Institute of Company Secretaries of India celebrated its 57th Foundation Day on the theme Scripting Good Governance, Shaping Viksit Bharat, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in New Delhi. Dr.Sudhanshu Trivedi, Member, Rajya Sabha & National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Shri Sanjeev Sanyal, Member, Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, was the Keynote Speaker. Appreciating the Institute, Dr.Sudhanshu Trivedi, said, “With India's rapid economic growth, the corporate & financial sectors are set to witness remarkable progress, where Company Secretaries will have a significant and indispensable role to play.” In his address, Sanjeev Sanyal, said “ICSI is an important pillar of India’s corporate ecosystem driving economic growth.I urge Company Secretaries to take lead and build multidisciplinary firms that will shape the next phase of corporate evolution.” Acknowledging the immense contribution of past leaders, CS Dhananjay Shukla, President, The ICSI said, “From a modest beginning in 1968, to a pathway marked by values, determination, and advancement, the vision that took shape 57 years ago, is now the largest fraternity of Company Secretaries in the world.” On the occasion, the ICSI also organised a soulful rendition by renowned classical vocalist, Sniti Mishra, in the evening. The ICSI also unveiled few important releases on the occasion.The ICSI Bi-Annual Progress Report, Board Evaluation by the IGPI, the 5th ICSI Board Mentorship Programme Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme were released. Leaders from trade and industry, senior corporate professionals, corporate directors, senior officers from the Government and the ICSI members, students and employees attended the event that was telecast live on ICSI social media handles for the stakeholders in India and abroad. CS Asish Mohan, Secretary, The ICSI, presented the vote of thanks.
