Internet suspension extended in Cuttack for 24 hours

Bhubaneswar(06/10/2025): The suspension of internet services have been extended in Cuttack city till 7 PM on October 7, according to a notification issued by the Home Department. The decision was taken following a recommendation from the Cuttack District Collector in view of the recent disturbances in the city. The move aims to curb the activities of anti-social elements. The restriction which was imposed on October 5 at 7 PM will remain in force across the Cuttack Municipal Corporation area, CDA region, and the 42 Mouza area. Decision regarding withdrawal of the restriction will be taken after reviewing the situation.
