Woman dies, son critical after trailer truck hits bike

Rajgangpur(08/10/2025): A woman died while her son sustained critical injuries after the bike they were riding was hit by a trailer truck at Garposh Chowk under Kutra police station in Sundargarh district. Following the incident, locals staged a road blockade on the Biju Expressway demanding compensation for family of the deceased.

Police reached the spot and seized the truck.

The blockade was lifted after the police assured the agitators that action will be taken after an investigation.
