Bolero hits truck from behind; one dead, 7 seriously injured

Balangir(18/10/2025): A Bolero hit a truck from behind near Jamsar under Puintala police station in Balangir district. One person died and 7 others were seriously injured in the accident. Puintala police and fire personnel rescued them. The seriously injured were admitted to Bhim Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir district. Two patients from Tumura village in Kalahandi district had gone to Burla Medical College in Sambalpur district for treatment in a Bolero.

The accident occurred while they were returning from Burla to Tumura after treatment. The deceased has been identified as Kabiram Jagat.
