Chhath Puja is symbol of inclusivity : PM
 
      
              Bhubaneswar (26/10/2025): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his greetings on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
Addressing the nation through the 127th episode of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister described Chhath festival as a symbol of inclusivity.
He noted, "The women devotees prepare for the Chhath is an inspiration.
Mahaparva of Chhath is a reflection of the deep unity between culture, nature, and society." The Prime Minister urged people to participate in Chhath Puja festivities. The PM highlighted that during the GST Bachat Utsav, there was an increase in purchases of Swadeshi goods and said there is a lot of enthusiasm among people regarding the GST Bachat Utsav. PM Modi also urged citizens to participate in the 'Run For Unity' being organised across India on October 31, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary. Stating that Operation Sindoor has filled every Indian with pride, he emphasised, "This time around, lamps of joy were lit even in those areas where the darkness of Maoist terror once prevailed.
People want the complete eradication of Maoist terror that had jeopardized the future of their children, the PM added.
