Over 100 kg 'unhygienic' icecream destroyed in Rourkela

Rourkela (17/10/2024): The Rourkela Municipal Cooperation (RMC) destroyed more than 100 kg 'unhygienic' ice cream at Industrial Estate in Rourkela in Sundargarh district on Thursday. The ice cream factory had been operating in the area without any valid license for the last two years.Despite RMC's repeated warnings, the unit had been preparing ice creams without maintaining hygiene. The RMC officials along with Food Officers raided the ice cream factory and seized over 100 kg of ice cream, machines and other items before sealing the unit. The officials destroyed all the ice cream stored in the factory.
