Baripada (14/10/2024): A group of robbers looted Rs 13600 cash, 10-12 gram gold ornaments, and other valuable silver ornaments from the house of a teacher in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. The entire incident was caught in the CCTV camera installed inside the house. According to information, Daitari Bindhani, a teacher by profession lives alone in the house.
On Sunday, he had been to Balasore for some medical work and did not return home.
Taking advantage of his absence, a few robbers barged into his house after breaking open the main door. However, sensing that CCTV cameras were installed inside the house, the robbers very cunningly wrapped themselves in sarees.
With their faces fully covered in the saree, they then wrapped the CCTV cameras with more sarees. After covering the CCTV cameras and turning those in other direction, the robbers broke open the almirah and fled away with the cash, gold, and silver ornaments. When Bindhani returned home located at Ward No.4 under Udala police limits on Monday morning, he found his main door, almirah open, and all the valuables missing.
