Odisha soaks in Durga Puja spirit

Bhubaneswar(28/09/2025): Odisha is abuzz with excitement for the grand celebration of Durga Puja.

From coastal cities to small towns, festive colours, music and lights have transformed the atmosphere. On this day, Shashthi rituals are underway in pandals while major shrines observe Saptami ceremonies.

Idols of the ten-armed Goddess Durga are being installed in elaborately decorated pandals across the state. The puja committees in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack have erected towering, artistically designed gateways and dazzling light installations, turning each venue into a focal point of devotion and celebration.
