15 killed, several injured after private bus gets stuck by landslide

Bilaspur (07/10/2025): At least 15 people lost their lives and several sustained injuries after a private bus got stuck by a landslide at Balurghat area in Jhandhuta subdivision of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. State Disaster Response Force, police and local administration started excavation and rescue efforts. There were 30 passengers travelling in the bus. A large amount of mud and rocks slid down from a hillside and crashed onto the bus.

The impact buried the vehicle under the debris.
