Srimandir declared as Red Zone for enhanced security

Puri(11/10/2025): The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has designated the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri as a Red Zone to further strengthen security measures around the sacred shrine. The Red Zone status will remain effective for three years, valid until September 25, 2028. Earlier, the area above the temple had already been declared a No-Flying Zone to ensure aerial security.
