 
            Voluntary blood donation camp organised by Shree Jagannath Bhakta Samaj
Puri(25/10/2025): A voluntary blood donation camp was organised by Shree Jagannath Bhakta Samaj, Puri, under the chairmanship of the societyâs president, Sri Sankarshan Mangaraj, at the premises of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Harachandi Sahi, with the support of the Blood Bank officials of Puri District Headquarters Hospital. At the beginning of the event, Dr.Pradeep Chandra Acharya recited the Vedic Mangalacharan, and the guests offered garlands to Lord Jagannath. As the chief guest, Mahanth Sri Shubhanand Puri Maharaj of Mahiprakash Math emphasised that âBlood donation is life donation.â He urged the youth community to come forward for this noble cause. Among the guests of honour were Prof.Purnachandra Mohapatra (Purohit of Shree Jagannath Temple), Dr.Balaram Dash, Sukanta Kumar Panda (Secretary of Shishu Sahitya), Yogaguru Ramaballav Mohapatra, Father Bulu Birendra Kujur, and social worker Bir Ananta Panda, who all spoke about the importance of blood donation. Members, volunteers, and social workers of the organisation donated blood voluntarily during the event. Rtn.Dhwalesh Mohapatra, Secretary of Rotary Club Sagar, donated blood, while President Rtn.Krushnachandra Sahu was also present. On this occasion, a memorial tribute was paid to Bharati Nayak, late wife of Bharat Kumar Nayak, the organisationâs mentor, on her first death anniversary. The event was conducted by Dr.Shashikant Rath (Secretary). Among those who assisted in organising were Kartik Sahu (Treasurer), Alok Kumar Swain, Dr.Snehalata Rath, Kajal Padhi, Pragnan Hota, Baishali Sahu, Sasmita Sahu, Purnima Mala, and Priyanka Mishra.
