Clash between two groups in Nayagarh District Jail; Superintendent injured

Nayagarh(27/10/2025): A group clash broke out inside Nayagarh District Jail, in which five inmates and the Jail Superintendent were injured. The incident occurred on Sunday when two groups of prisoners got into a fight. When the Jail Superintendent and a warder tried to stop them, some prisoners began pelting stones and bricks, injuring the Superintendent. The jail authorities have filed a written complaint regarding the incident at the Sadar police station.
