Cyclone Montha: School holiday declared in 8 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar(27/10/2025): In view of Cyclone “Montha”, the School and Mass Education Department on Monday announced holidays in 8 districts of southern Odisha. All schools in these districts will remain closed from October 28 until the 30. The districts are Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Nabarangpur. All leave for employees of the School and Mass Education Department has been cancelled.
