 
            Training programme begins for Vocational Higher Secondary School students
Bhubaneswar(27/10/2025): A five-day residential Hands-on Skill Development Training Programme for students of Government Vocational Higher Secondary Schools was inaugurated on Monday at Centurion University, Bhubaneswar, under the SPEFL Trade initiative. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Niyati Pattnaik, Director, Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, who attended as the Chief Guest.In her address, she emphasized that the training programme will inspire students to acquire practical skills and understand the growing importance of vocational education in shaping their future careers. Prof.(Dr.) Supriya Pattnaik, Vice Chancellor of Centurion University, also attended the event and interacted with the students, highlighting the need for vocational education and its role in future career development.On this occasion, Jitendra Nayak, Deputy Director, DHSE delivered the welcome address, while C.H Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Director gave vote of thanks. As many as 100 students and teachers are participating in this residential training.Through this initiative, participants will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in various vocational trades, enhancing their practical understanding and employability skills.
