Cyclone Montha: Nandankanan Zoo to remain closed tomorrow

Bhubaneswar(28/10/2025): In view of the heavy rainfall triggered by Severe Cyclonic Storm Montha, the Nandankanan Zoological Park and State Botanical Garden situated on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar will remain closed to visitors on October 29 as a precautionary measure. The Odisha government has stated that it is fully prepared to handle any situation arising from the cyclone.

Meanwhile, Nandankanan authorities have implemented a detailed preparedness plan to ensure the safety of animals, visitors, and park infrastructure.
