PM Modi receives warm birthday wishes from global leaders

New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar (17/09/2025): Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi received warm birthday wishes on Wednesday with greetings pouring in from Russia and the United States. Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov took to the social media platform 'X' to extend his wishes.

He praised the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in taking the decades-old friendship between New Delhi and Moscow to new heights. Similar wishes also came from Washington.

United States President Donald Trump personally called PM Modi to convey his wishes.

He described the PM as a leader doing a "tremendous job." Trump expressed gratitude to the PM for his support in efforts to resolve the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Born as Narendra Damodardas Modi on September 17, 1950 in the Mehsana town of Gujarat, he served as the state's Chief Minister for three consecutive terms (2001-14) and is now the Prime Minister of India for the third time since 2014. To mark the occasion, the BJP has announced a series of social service activities, including blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and health camps.
