Commissionerate Police issues guidelines for goddess Durga idol immersion in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (30/09/2025): The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday issued guidelines for goddess Durga idol immersion ceremonies in Bhubaneswar. Immersion will be held by four Visarjan Committees across four different routes. ​The committees are: Sahid Nagar, Rajdhani Mandir Surakhya Visarjan Committee, Nayapalli Uttar Bhubaneswar Visarjan Committee, Chandrasekharpur, and Old Town Committee. ​Vehicular movement will be restricted in certain areas during the immersion procession. ​The restrictions will be enforced from 2:00 PM on October 3 until 1:00 AM.
