No photos or videos allowed on Rasulgarh, Bomikhal overbridges during Durga Puja

Bhubaneswar(01/10/2025): To ensure smooth traffic flow during the festive rush, the Bhubaneswar Traffic Police has issued fresh guidelines restricting photography and videography on Rasulgarh and Bomikhal overbridges in Bhubaneswar. The decision has been taken as these two locations witness heavy crowd movement and severe traffic jams, especially during Durga Puja.

People stopping to take pictures or record videos on the overbridges often cause additional obstruction to vehicular flow, worsening congestion. The traffic authorities have also requested commuters to make use of alternative routes to avoid delays.

With thousands of devotees and visitors expected in the city during the festive period, strict enforcement of traffic regulations will be in place around major junctions. Officials have appealed to the public to cooperate with the new rules to ensure a safe and hassle-free celebration.
