 
            One Nation, One Police Uniform policy to be implemented soon
Bhubaneswar(30/10/2025): The âOne Nation, One Police Uniformâ policy will soon be implemented across India.Under this initiative, all police personnel in the country will have a single type of uniform.Different states will no longer have separate police uniforms. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has sought information from 16 states and Union Territories, including Odisha, regarding the plan.These include Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal. The Ministry has directed all states to submit the required information by November 4.Following the Centreâs letter, the DGP Control Room has instructed the State Police Headquarters to provide the necessary details.
