Provide all facilities to Habisyalis: Odisha CM to SJTA

Bhubaneswar (18/10/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has personally intervened to ensure that Habisyalis visiting Puri face no difficulties.The Chief Minister has directed the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and district administration to provide all necessary facilities to the devotees, particularly the elderly women, during the month of Kartika. The Chief Minister's intervention comes after concerns were raised about the difficulties faced by Habisyalis, for their stay at Brundabati Niwas in Puri.On Thursday, hundreds of Habisyalis, who have not registered their names for their stay during Kartika month at Brundabati Niwas, staged a dharna.They demanded their stay at Brundabati Niwas .
