Bhubaneswar & Jharsuguda airports recieve bomb threat

Bhubaneswar (24/10/2024): A hoax bomb threat was received at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) on Thursday.Following the bomb threat, the authorities heightened security checks. According to Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan, the threat was received through Twitter.However, after thorough searches of the flight and passengers, it was deemed a hoax. On the other hand, a bomb scare also shook Jharsuguda Airport after a bomb threat was received regarding an Indigo flight coming from Bengaluru.
