Crane operator injured in mishap at Paradip Port

Paradip (08/10/2024): A crane operator sustained injuries in a mishap at Paradip Port in Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday. According to reports, the incident took place at the MPB berth of the Port when limestone was taken out from an MV Amnsi Maximus vessel. The crane belonging to Bothra Shipping Corporation was engaged in the operation when the boom snapped and fell on a ship.The ship and crane lifting cylinder suffered damage in the mishap.
