Cyclone update: Holiday declared for schools in 14 districts

Bhubaneswar (21/10/2024): In view of the possible cyclone, Special Relief Commissioner Deoranjan Singh on Monday declared holiday for schools in 14 districts. All government and private schools will remain closed in Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Angul, Khurda, Nayagarh, and Cuttack districts from October 23-25. Meanwhile, the Puri district administration has requested the tourists to vacate the town before October 23.
