Commisionerate Police busts fake call center in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (16/10/2024): The Commissionerate Police on Wednesday busted a fake call center operating at Sundarpada area in Bhubaneswar. The call center was functioning at Kanchan Apartment.The Cyber and Airfield police jointly conducted the raid following a tip-off from a reliable source.During the operation, police seized several items resembling SIM boxes and detained five individuals in connection with the case. The call center was allegedly involved in fraudulent activities, and the police are investigating further to uncover the extent of the scam.
