Puri Srimandir entry restrictions for devotees from October 18

Puri(16/10/2024): The Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Wednesday announced restrictions on the entry of regular devotees into the Srimandir. From October 18 onwards, entry would be allowed only through the Singhadwara (Lion's Gate) and the Western gate. Except for the Singhadwara, any one of the three gates can be used by the devotees to exit the temple.Exit through the Singhadwara will be prohibited.However, this restriction will not be applicable to the temple servitors and their family members. The temple administration has urged all to adhere to these rules so that darshan becomes hassle-free. The decision has been taken in view of the expected rush during the holy month of Kartika.
